Last January 22, 2012, a short ceremony program was held at Villa Concha Brgy. Maybunga Covered Court, to welcome the proprietor of Eight Rays Marketing Mr. Jose "Jun" Paeste and Mrs. Wilma Paeste.
Through the years the couples of Paeste are among the constant donors of LOM projects. This time w/ their two teen-age sons and 2 aunties they come with a substantial donation of 2,250 pcs. of soup bowls for our feeding program. After Mr. Lito Gualdajara ( The LOM Founder) deliver his welcome address followed by the message of Mr. Jun Paeste, the supposed simple ceremony turn into a variety show after the bulilit dancers performed. the younger Paeste got inspired and offer a song and received a resounding applause from the audience, confident being a scholar dance instructor of San Sebastian University, he showed a piece of his favorite modern dance that amaze the audience especially for the young ones.
Acceptance ceremony followed w/ the LOM officers from different chapters. Each chapter received the bowl directly from Mr. & Mrs. Jose & Wilma Paeste and delivered a short message. One that makes the program exciting was the cultural dance presentation by LOM Youth group. What makes it more surprising is that the Tinikling Dance that use to be learn in a week or two was mastered in just a day. What a lamented youth! What is more surprising is that while the program is ongoing the sewer is still sewing their dance costume and exactly in their turn to present sewing was completed. The cultural dance was excellent it was just a little funny when Mr. Lito Gualdajara was invited to try Tinikling dance.
The program was successful in general and everyone was touch by the dedication of the Paeste family practice the culture of Living for the sake of others.
